Most of the guest-friendly hotels in guest friendly hotels Ho Chi Minh (Saigon) list are located in District 1 close to the nightlife and bar girls. Vietnam is a communist country and most of the hotels have very strict policies. Almost all (high-end) hotels won’t allow you to bring a local bar girl back to your hotel room.

I came back from a short trip to Ho Chi Minh in November 2022. I stayed at the LuanVu Hotel in the middle of the Bui Vien party area. I found a girl on Tinder. She asked for $100 LT and agreed to ($65). I paid her the money as she was very good-looking.

I got a call from reception and she came direct to my room. Later, a friend of mine came back with a freelancer to the same hotel, free of charge but this time not hassle-free. I asked my Tinder girl if she knows guest-friendly hotels in Ho Chi Minh. The girl explained to me that she never had problems staying with customers in any 1-5 star hotels in Ho Chi Minh. If the girl doesn’t wear too sexy clothes and a lot of make-up, the staff will never stop her.

I found Luan Vu a bit risky, because of my friend’s experience and decided to check some guest-friendly hotels in Ho Chi Minh from my previous trips. Minh Vy Hotel is a real gem, much better than before. Recently renovated rooms, excellent wi-fi, and the reception guy can find girls and bring them directly to your room.

Where to find bar girls and freelancers in Ho Chi Minh?

Pham Ngu Lao – Bui Vien Street area. It’s a party area with many bars and restaurants. The area has some new hostess bars but I didn’t have time to check them in November 2022.

The Go-go bar on Bui Vien Street late at night is a very good place to find freelancers. Girl prices 2016: $30-$50 LT (long time) is a normal price. Some girls try to ask for $100-$200!

Hai Ba Trung Street area – beer bars and bar girls. Prices: $50-100 LT. The info is a bit old. Friends told me that most bars there are closed (2016). I’ll check the area in January 2023.

Apocalypse Now Disco is still a good place to find freelancers (2023) but negotiate the price in advance. BJ bars in Ho Chi Minh – I visited Benny’s, the most famous BJ bar in Ho Chi Minh, in November 2022. You pick a girl and pay her ($20), the tip is optional.

The address is 110 Dien Bien Phu, Binh Thanh District. Close to Benny’s is My Tien, located at 90 Dien Bien Phu. Another good BJ bar is at 84 Nguyen Phi Khanh. The taxi drivers know the location, it’s not far from the city center.

Ho Sen Hotel $28+

Guest-friendly hotel right in District 1. Good value for money. Close to the famous Apocalypse bar where you can find many girls late at night. Lots of international and local restaurants nearby. Clean, comfortable rooms with wi-fi, safe, and a good supply of toiletries. Standard rooms have no windows. Deluxe rooms are huge and much better. The hotel staff is friendly, helpful, and speaks good English.

Thien Xuan Hotel $33+

Thien Xuan Hotel has a very good central location. Walking distance to bars, restaurants, and nightlife. Close to Ho Chi Minh nightlife, entertainment, and sights. Good clean comfortable rooms with free wi-fi, excellent shower, and aircon. Nice breakfast on the 10th floor with a rooftop view. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Minh Vy Hotel $20+

I stayed once at the Minh Vy Hotel. Nice budget option in guest-friendly hotels Ho Chi Minh list. Close to Ho Chi Minh nightlife and entertainment. Walking distance to beer bars, restaurants, and sights. Good rooms with free wi-fi, safe, aircon, LCD tv, desk, coffee/tea maker. The VIP rooms are bigger and better.
